Job Description:
Oversee all activities and supervision of 30 off-site Phlebotomy Staff members (for 18 off-site locations).
Ensure department is staffed and properly scheduled at all times. Help with payroll and corrective action of employees.
Maintain established department policies and procedures, objectives, safety, environmental and infection control standards.
Years of Experience Required:
5 years of management experience as a Phlebotomy Supervisor; 3 years of specialized training as a Histotech and fully proficient in all areas of Phlebotomy.
Required Certifications:
BS in Science and/or MBA.
Certification as a HT (Histotech).
Active MA Phlebotomist License.
Patient Population: Adult medical patients.
EMR (Charting System): EPIC.
Rotating Shifts Required: Rotate onto weekends and holidays as assigned to assure uniform quality of laboratory services.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $37.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 per week
